Claydon High School is a comprehensive school in Ipswich. It shared a joint Sixth Form with Thurleston High School until July 2010, when their sixth form closed. In a recent OFSTED report, the school was rated as ' Good' and has specialist Humanities status. Last year, GCSE grades at the school improved significantly, bringing the 5 A*-C percentage up to 76%, well above the national and local averages. Ex gold medalist Jamie Baulch visited the school on 19 October 2011 with the Jamie Baulch Academy. [1]
